Colleen Tuuta and Roger Lloyd

Embarking on major renovations for our 1970's home could have been a nightmare for us both - BUT it wasn't.  In the scheme of things - it 'flowed'.

Having very limited knowledge of the building or construction business we were reliant and very dependent on our builder Te Paea Weco (Nukes)

We had never met our builder before but he came highly recommended by another building friend.  When we met Nukes - he arrived on time, well presented after doing a full on day on site.  We had our architectural drawings and he explained how the process would work.

We had a tight time frame of 14 weeks - he delivered!

Of significant mention is his first class ability to 'manage'. Whatever 'pops up' and in renovations - anything is possible.  We were able to make quick decisions with him based on his sound knowledge of materials, suppliers, design and experience.  Consequently we were able to implement 'changes' rapidly with minimum loss of down time and with minimum extra cost and in some cases at no extra cost.

Because Nukes has been in the industry for 20 years and has been trained in the 'old school' of apprenticeships he has also has extensive networks that he can call on in a 'phone call'.  This speaks volumes for the integrity and mana that he has within the building industry and his peers.

Would we recommend him and his business - absolutely and we have!  We are always getting asked - "Who was your builder?" - And we tell them!

Would we use his business again - absolutely!
